B&Q Customer Advisor Apprenticeship

About the role

As a Customer Advisor Apprentice at B&Q, you will become an expert advisor and guide for customers undertaking home improvement projects. Your role will involve not only sales but also stock management, display setup, and ensuring the store looks its best. You'll receive training in areas like paint-mixing and timber cutting, with a strong emphasis on providing exceptional customer service. Duties include actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs and offering solutions, collaborating with colleagues, resolving customer issues positively, encouraging feedback, maximizing sales through available tools, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. You'll primarily work in the Garden Centre, adapting to seasonal changes and customer demands throughout the year, from outdoor furniture to Christmas setups.
