About the role

This apprenticeship at Oasis Academy Oldham offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Teaching Assistant. You will provide crucial support to class teachers, assisting students with their educational and social development both inside and outside the classroom. Key responsibilities include contributing to the day-to-day running of the Academy, supporting students' progress and well-being, and organizing interventions. You will play a vital role in raising pupil achievement by developing outstanding practice in liaison with the class teacher and fostering a positive and inclusive Academy culture. The role requires promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students and contributing to the Academy's vision, values, and aims. Supervision of students during unstructured times is also expected.
