About the role
This apprenticeship is for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join Oasis Academy Nunsthorpe as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice. You will be an essential part of the classroom team, supporting young learners and the teacher. Key responsibilities include supporting classroom activities, assisting pupils with learning, providing extra help to those who need it, learning behaviour strategies, and helping to plan sessions. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children, be friendly, kind, caring, reliable, and possess strong communication skills. GCSEs in English and Maths at grades 9-4 (or equivalent) are required, along with a successful Enhanced DBS check. Upon completion, there is potential for a full-time role.
Entry requirements
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at grades A*-C / 9-4. Successful applicants will need to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
