About the role
Little Nippers Childcare are looking to recruit apprentices for their nursery in Plympton. The role involves supervising children during playtime, engaging them in learning and play activities, and maintaining accurate records. Successful candidates will be trustworthy and attentive to children's needs. Responsibilities include ensuring tidiness and cleanliness of nursery areas, working with team members, and adhering to company policies on Health and Safety. The apprenticeship offers comprehensive training, including Functional Skills if required, and will be largely delivered at the workplace with regular assessor visits. Additional certifications in Emergency and Paediatric First Aid, Health and Safety, Internet Safety, and Safeguarding will be provided. The employer is committed to staff development and offers potential for future employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
