About the role
Little Scallywags Nursery is seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an Early Years Educator apprentice. This role focuses on providing high-quality childcare for children aged 9 months to 5 years. The apprentice will support the education and development of key children through quality teaching and learning, working alongside experienced staff. Duties include ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, monitoring children's well-being, collaborating with staff, maintaining records, and communicating with parents. Essential requirements include GCSE Maths and English at grades 4-9 (A*-C) and strong communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and patience. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is also required. Upon completion, there is potential for a permanent role.
