About the role
U-Telecom LTD (Wayv Talk & Broadband) is seeking an IT Support Apprentice for their Sheffield office. This role involves providing first-class technical support to clients, ensuring optimal performance of VoIP and IT services. Responsibilities include resolving technical issues related to network and VoIP systems, monitoring system performance, conducting system checks and updates, and maintaining detailed customer interaction records. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a commitment to excellent customer service. Experience with network diagnostics and VoIP support is desirable but not essential. The apprenticeship requires 3 GCSEs at grade 4+ and Maths/English at grade 3+.
Entry requirements
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject, GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above). Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
