About the role

This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity within DOORCO LTD's dynamic technology department. The IT Apprentice will primarily support the Technology Manager in handling IT issues and projects, contributing to the day-to-day management of the business's IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include liaising with the Managed Service Provider, logging and escalating IT issues, tracking support requests, managing supplier performance, and assisting users with issue resolution. The role also involves maintaining documentation of systems and policies, supporting cybersecurity activities, evaluating AI tools, reporting security incidents, and identifying opportunities for system and process improvements. The apprentice will also assist with internal projects involving systems or data and act as a liaison between technical suppliers and business users. This is a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, providing a solid foundation for a career in IT.
