About the role

Hudson Hill Consulting is seeking a motivated IT Support Apprentice to join their IT team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to launch a career in IT, gain practical experience, and work towards a recognized Level 3 qualification. The apprentice will support the IT helpdesk by assisting users with technical issues, troubleshooting hardware and software, and developing essential IT support skills. Responsibilities include acting as the first point of contact for IT issues, logging incidents, diagnosing basic IT problems, assisting with account administration, and escalating complex issues. The role requires a keen interest in IT, good problem-solving and communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Desirable skills include a basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications. Entry requirements are 3 GCSEs at grades 4+ and GCSE Maths and English at grades 3+.

Entry requirements

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject, GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above). Must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject.
