About the role

This 18-month IT Support Apprentice program with VIRTUAL I T LTD aims to equip you with the necessary skills and experience to transition into a full-time technical role. The apprenticeship is divided into two phases. Months 1-8 will focus on administrative and hardware support within the Customer Service Team, reporting to the 2nd Line Team Leader. You will gain experience in the build room and field tasks. Months 8-16 will see you join the 1st Line Team, providing remote support to customers and working on the Helpdesk, reporting to the 1st Line Team Leader. The expectation is that you will resolve at least 85% of your logged incidents. Essential requirements include strong customer care and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, a desire to learn, and an awareness of IT Hardware, Windows Operating Systems, and Microsoft 365. GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above are also required. This apprenticeship offers the potential for a promising career in the IT sector.
