About the role
Hillier Hopkins, a leading Chartered Accountants & Tax Advisers, is seeking an IT Apprentice to join their growing IT department in Watford. This role involves providing IT services and support to the firm's three offices. Responsibilities include handling first-line helpdesk queries, installing and configuring hardware and software, assisting with new starter and leaver processes, and supporting team members with ad hoc tasks. Desirable skills include being IT competent, having a genuine interest in IT, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills. Entry requirements are 3 GCSEs at grades 4+ (A-C) and GCSE Maths and English at grades 3+ (D or above). Upon completion, apprentices will gain a Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification.
Entry requirements
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject. GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above). Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
