Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience as an Early Years Educator in a primary school setting while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification. The role involves supporting children aged 3 to 5 in their learning, development, and well-being, helping to create a safe and stimulating environment. You will assist in planning and delivering engaging activities, encouraging children's communication, language, social, and emotional development. Key responsibilities include observing and assessing children's progress, supporting independence and positive behaviour, building relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and assisting with learning resources. Upholding safeguarding, health and safety, and the school's Catholic ethos are paramount. The apprenticeship includes pre-employment checks and potential for full-time employment upon successful completion.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 equivalent. Desired skills include communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, and patience.
