About the role

Kisharon Noé School is seeking enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant Apprentices to support pupils aged 4-19 with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities. As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will play a vital role in helping pupils engage in lessons and activities, working with individuals and small groups under the direction of the class teacher. Your duties will include supporting pupils with communication, social interaction, independence, and life skills, helping them access a personalised curriculum and achieve their goals. You will also assist in preparing learning resources, maintaining a stimulating learning environment, and supporting pupils with specific communication, sensory, mobility, and personal care needs. Collaboration with teachers, therapists, and other professionals is key, as is building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families. Adherence to safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection procedures is mandatory. Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 equivalent.
