About the role

PROPERGEEKS LIMITED is seeking an IT Technician Apprentice in WALLASEY. This role involves assisting in the diagnosis and repair of computer hardware and software failures, as well as providing customer support in-store and over the phone. The apprentice will also be involved in selling the company's range of hardware and software products. Key duties include troubleshooting technical issues, assisting customers with purchases, maintaining shop and workshop standards, and adhering to company procedures for data security, cash handling, and health and safety. The apprenticeship includes training provided by ESTIO TRAINING LIMITED, covering efficient operation and control of ICT infrastructure, system support tasks, and maintaining regulatory standards. Successful completion leads to an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification.

Entry requirements

  • GCSEs including English and Maths (A*-C/9-4 or equivalent), good communication, ability to engage with people, likability, politeness, approachability, and personability.
