About the role

Concero Education is seeking an IT Technician Apprentice to join their team. This role is crucial for the successful delivery of education-centric technology services, ensuring school communities are comfortable and confident using educational technology. The apprentice will provide 1st line technical problem-solving and network management, building strong relationships with school staff and ensuring contractual compliance. Responsibilities include monitoring customer portfolios, responding to incidents, managing problems to resolution for network or equipment failures, updating systems in real-time, acting as a point of contact for technical issues, managing day-to-day tasks to meet service levels, proactively seeking value-adding changes for customers, identifying and resolving issues, and maintaining professional relationships.

Entry requirements

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject, GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above). Must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject.
