About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a qualified Early Years Educator at UNICORN CHILDCARE CDE LIMITED in Chertsey. You will support children's learning and development in a nursery setting, engage them in fun and educational activities, and ensure a safe and stimulating environment. Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines, observing and recording children's progress, and working collaboratively with experienced childcare professionals.
Ideal candidates will possess strong GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above), along with IT skills. Essential personal attributes include being logical, a team player, creative, able to take initiative, non-judgmental, patient, and physically fit.
Upon completion, there are opportunities for career progression, including working towards becoming a fully qualified Early Years Educator and potentially moving into room leadership roles. The training is delivered by SWIFT ACI LIMITED, offering remote learning with tutor support, hands-on experience, and a dedicated mentor. Full training is provided, and no prior experience is needed. A DBS check will be required.
