About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting, especially someone passionate about childcare and early years, looking to further their career.
Key duties include providing excellent activities for children's learning and fun, supporting their development through planning and observations, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food for meals, supporting children's self-help needs, being creative and enthusiastic, following safeguarding rules, and adhering to health and hygiene requirements. The apprenticeship also includes undertaking first aid training and any other required training to meet changing standards or legal requirements.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English at grade 4 and GCSE Maths at grade 4. Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, patience, and a non-judgemental attitude are also essential.
