About the role
Sunrise Day Nursery is offering a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship for individuals with prior experience in a nursery or school setting and a passion for childcare. This role involves providing engaging activities for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, supporting their learning and development through planning and observations, preparing and maintaining the nursery environment and resources, and assisting with children's self-help needs. The apprentice will also be responsible for preparing food, adhering to safeguarding rules, and ensuring all health and hygiene requirements are met. The apprenticeship includes training in Paediatric First Aid and leads to a Level 3 qualification.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Excellent communication, organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential, along with creativity, initiative, patience, and a non-judgemental attitude.
