Adult Care Worker

About the role

As a Home Care Worker Apprentice, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. This role involves promoting dignity, independence, choice, privacy, and respect. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and light domestic duties, including laundry, ironing, and shopping. Additionally, you will help with collecting prescriptions and supporting medication administration when trained. Accurate recording of care visits, daily notes, and medication records using the rostering platform app is essential. You will monitor and report changes in service users' health and wellbeing, adhering to safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality policies. Participation in staff meetings, supervision, and mandatory training is expected. This apprenticeship will allow you to work towards achieving your qualification while developing your care skills. Upon successful completion, there is a possibility of full-time employment.
