Early Years Educator Apprentice (Level 3)

About the role

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career.

Key duties include providing excellent activities that ensure children learn while having fun, supporting children's learning and development through planning and observations, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food for meals, supporting children's self-help needs, and demonstrating creativity and enthusiasm. The role also requires adherence to safeguarding rules, undertaking First Aid training as needed, and complying with all health and hygiene requirements. Upon completion, apprentices will develop into a Level 3 Practitioner with potential for a permanent position and future career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Excellent communication, organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential, along with creativity, initiative, being non-judgmental, and patience.
