Childcare Apprentice

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice to join the team at Tiny Tots Nursery. The apprenticeship is for 13 months, working towards an Advanced Diploma in Early Years. The role involves supporting the development of childcare provision, providing engaging activities for children aged 0-5, assisting in meeting Ofsted requirements, and being a creative, enthusiastic, and responsible team player. Essential requirements include GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or equivalent Functional Skills. The nursery is well-established with convenient locations in SW16 and offers a supportive learning environment with an assessor and mentor. Successful completion could lead to a Level 3 practitioner position, room leader roles, management training, or further development in areas like primary education or paediatric nursing.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or Functional Skills Level 2. Communication skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, number skills, teamwork, creativity, being non-judgemental, patience, and physical fitness are also important.
