About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting, and especially someone passionate about childcare and early years, looking to further their career.
Duties include providing an excellent range of activities that ensures children learn whilst having fun, supporting children's learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food, supporting children's self-help needs, being creative and enthusiastic, following safeguarding rules, undertaking first aid training, and adhering to all health and hygiene requirements.
Upon completion, you will develop into a level 3 practitioner with the potential for a permanent position. There is also potential for career progression into other childcare-oriented roles such as social work, teaching, or managerial positions.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or Functional Skills Level 2, along with strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience.
