PRECIOUS MOMENTS CHILDCARE (DARWEN) LTD is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a genuine passion for nurturing young learners and proven experience in a nursery setting. If you have completed an LV2 or LV3 Early Years Apprenticeship and are looking to advance your career, this role is for you.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support fellow educators in delivering the setting's curriculum and standards, work towards an early years qualification with full support, and liaise closely with children aged 0-5 years old. Key duties include assisting with daily needs, planning and supporting age-appropriate play, ensuring safeguarding and welfare, observing and assessing children's progress, building positive relationships with parents/carers, adhering to setting policies, and maintaining health and safety standards.
This role offers significant career progression opportunities, with the employer committed to staff growth through qualifications up to LV5 Early Years Lead Practitioner, with the aim of individuals growing into senior roles within the business. Training is provided by WMC TRAINING LTD, and the apprenticeship includes regular off-the-job training. A DBS check is required for this position.
