About the role

Ladybird Nursery is recruiting for an Apprentice Early Years Educator at their Thornsett, SE20 7XB location. This apprenticeship offers a career in childcare, focusing on meeting the educational, social, physical, emotional, health, and welfare needs of children. The apprentice will undertake an Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification. Key duties include adhering to policies and procedures, engaging with children to stimulate learning, demonstrating sensitivity to children and families, assisting with new child admissions, maintaining records for E.Y.D.C.P and Ofsted requirements, promoting health and safety practices, responding to safety issues, and participating in training and meetings. The role requires excellent communication, IT, attention to detail, organizational, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, number, analytical, logical, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and non-judgmental skills, along with patience. The apprenticeship is for 1 year and 6 months, with potential for ongoing employment upon completion of the qualification.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English (Grade C or 4+) and Maths (Grade C or 4+), and Early Years Practitioner (Grade 2).
