Early Years Educator Apprentice - Level 3

About the role

Ladybirds Nursery is seeking an apprentice to complete their Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. As an apprentice, you will be trained on the job to gain a comprehensive understanding of working in a day nursery, with support from an award-winning training provider. You will work alongside a buddy and contribute to the care and education of children aged birth to five years, adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework. Key responsibilities include planning and evaluating activities, ensuring a stimulating and safe environment, maintaining children's safeguarding and welfare, and supporting qualified staff with daily routines. The role requires a strong interest in child development, dedication to completing the apprenticeship, and at least a Grade C in GCSE Maths or English (or willingness to undertake functional skills).

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above, or willing to complete functional skills.
