Childcare Level 5 Apprentice

About the role

MEDUA BILINGUAL NURSERY LTD is seeking a dynamic individual to join their friendly team as a Childcare Level 5 Apprentice. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to learn about early years and gain hands-on experience supporting children aged 5 months to 5 years. The role involves acting as a key person to a small group of children, making learning fun, and liaising closely with parents/carers. Duties include building effective relationships with parents, advising the manager on child well-being and safety, teaching children through stimulating play, ensuring child safety and understanding child protection procedures, and actively participating in team and personal development activities. The apprenticeship is expected to last 1 Year 6 Months.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or equivalent. Desired skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, logical, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, patience, and physical fitness.
