Nursery Manager - lv5 Apprenticeship pathway

About the role

WMC Training is seeking a dedicated and ambitious professional with proven practitioner experience to progress their career into management at their client in Cheam (SM3). This Level 5 apprenticeship pathway will equip you to become the business leader of tomorrow within the nursery setting.

Key duties include overseeing daily nursery operations, managing staff, fostering strong partnerships with parents, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and driving the quality of care and education. You will be responsible for staff supervision, delegation, observations, and mentoring, as well as organizing parent events and ensuring all safety and developmental checks are completed to a high standard. The role also involves assisting with enquiries, conducting viewings, and maintaining accurate records of children's development. Collaboration with external agencies and driving initiatives to enhance the nursery's community reputation are also expected.
