About the role
Join University College Birmingham as a Technology Apprentice and provide crucial first-line IT support to staff and students, both on campus and remotely. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop a wide range of IT skills within a dynamic IT department. You will be responsible for logging and resolving IT service requests, implementing and maintaining hardware and software, installing and configuring devices, diagnosing faults, and assisting with departmental projects. This is a customer-facing role where you'll gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, along with strong communication, IT, attention to detail, customer care, problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
