About the role

The IT Apprentice at ALPHA OMEGA COMPUTERS LTD will provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and networking systems. This role involves resolving technical incidents, maintaining network and backup systems, and contributing to technical development projects. Duties include responding to IT support requests, documenting resolutions, troubleshooting network connectivity, assisting with system infrastructure maintenance, and performing routine system updates. The apprentice will also engage in personal projects to expand their IT knowledge. This is a full-time role with a structured training program in partnership with Leeds City College, involving both on-campus and remote learning sessions. Upon successful completion, a permanent contract is highly likely.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, a demonstrable passion for IT, proficiency in Microsoft Windows, and an understanding of hardware and Wi-Fi.
