Facilities Management Apprenticeship

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join AWE PLC's facilities management team as an apprentice. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, security, and wellbeing of our buildings and teams, directly contributing to our mission and ensuring compliance with government regulations.

As an apprentice, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of workplace management, including welfare concerns, risk-based inspections, emergency training support, and managing new works requests. You will also collaborate with project teams, review safe systems of work for maintenance and breakdowns, and liaise with residential groups and customers. This apprenticeship offers a pathway to a full Facilities Management role at AWE upon completion, where you will utilize your acquired knowledge and experience to support our operations and contribute to continuous improvement.

Entry requirements

• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) plus strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisational, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, analytical, and teamwork skills. Reliability and flexibility are also essential.
