About the role
Embark on a career in Electronic Design as an apprentice at AWE PLC in Berkshire. This 5-year program offers hands-on experience in electronic theory, circuit design, and fault finding, complemented by part-time HND and degree apprenticeship studies. You will rotate through different teams, gaining a comprehensive understanding of electronics in a critical national security environment. The apprenticeship culminates in an End Point Assessment, preparing you for roles such as Analogue Electronic Engineer, Firmware Engineer, or Electronic Systems Engineer. Entry requirements
- 5 GCSEs inc English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above), Maths or STEM-related A Level/BTEC (Grade C or above), or BTEC Level 3/HNC/HND/T-level (Grade C or above). Strong communication, IT, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential.
