About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a SEND Teaching Assistant at Kisharon Noé School, working under the guidance of experienced educators. You will play a vital role in supporting pupils with their learning and development, assisting them in engaging with lessons and school activities. Your responsibilities will include working with individual students and small groups, helping them to achieve their personal goals and access a tailored curriculum. You'll also be involved in preparing learning resources and maintaining a stimulating classroom environment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to support pupils with diverse needs, including communication, sensory, and behavioural challenges. You will also assist with personal care where required. Collaboration with teachers, therapists, and other professionals is key, as is adherence to safeguarding and confidentiality policies.
