About the role
This Apprenticeship Programme within the Commercial & Schemes division of HOWDEN UK GROUP LIMITED offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the foundations of commercial insurance. As an apprentice, you will support clients with their policies, answer queries, update records, and ensure smooth operations. You will develop essential business, customer service, and communication skills while building relationships with clients and insurers. The role involves drafting professional correspondence, gathering and sharing information for policy management, maintaining accurate records, and learning about policy amendments and renewals. This 18-month programme starts with a permanent contract and offers career progression within Howden.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, number, logical thinking, teamwork, and patience skills are essential.
