About the role

Our Credit & Political Risk team helps international businesses protect themselves against financial and political risks. As an apprentice, you'll join our Operations team, who are responsible for keeping the team running smoothly and efficiently. This helps us continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.

You will learn how insurance solutions support organisations operating internationally, use your attention to detail skills to make sure client records are accurate and kept up to date, and support the administration of insurance policies and contracts, including updating records and processing documentation changes. You will also support with a range of process improvement projects to identify new ways to improve team efficiency and collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure we are delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Our apprentices join Howden on permanent contracts from day one. After successfully completing the 18-month programme, you'll transition out of the apprenticeship and continue developing your skills, expertise and career within your chosen area of the business. Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above. Key skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative skills, logical thinking, teamwork, and initiative.
