FCC RECYCLING (UK) LIMITED is offering a Level 5 Technician Scientist Apprenticeship in Leeds. This 3-year program combines hands-on experience in waste treatment, sampling, testing, and plant maintenance with structured scientific training. Ideal for individuals with a science background who enjoy problem-solving and teamwork. The apprenticeship involves operating industrial waste treatment processes, collecting samples, conducting tests, performing routine maintenance, and recording data. It also emphasizes adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) procedures. The role requires flexibility, with potential for ad-hoc shift work and a formal shift pattern after 18 months. Upon completion, there is potential for a full-time position. Additional information includes working towards a full UK driving licence.
