About the role
APRA Care is seeking a Lead Adult Care apprentice to join their team in Cornwall. This role involves supporting adults with various care needs, adhering to person-centred care principles, and following care plans and policies. Key duties include effective communication, working independently and in a team, mentoring, supervising shifts, supporting colleagues, and developing leadership skills. Previous experience in care and ideally management is required, along with a driving license and own vehicle. The apprenticeship is for 1 year and 6 months, with training provided by Cornwall College.

- GCSE English Grade 3/D, GCSE Maths Grade 3/D, Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Number skills, Team working, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, Physical fitness, Previous experience working in care, previous experience within management (ideally), driving license and own vehicle.
