About the role

Motability Operations Ltd is seeking a full-time Customer Service Apprentice in Bristol. This 15-month apprenticeship offers hands-on experience and skill development within various customer-focused teams. Initially, you will work in the Vehicle Licensing and Documentation team, learning about vehicle registration, taxation, and administration, followed by the end-of-contract dispatch process. Subsequently, you will join the Application Support team, assisting with applications and managing vehicle returns, which includes handling customer calls. You will spend 3-4 months in each team to understand their impact on the customer and dealer journey, with teams operating Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Key duties include making and receiving calls, managing vehicle documentation, processing manual dispatches, handling overdue vehicle returns, and supporting customer agreement corrections. Upon completion, you will transition to the Application Experience Team (9 am to 5 pm), supporting car dealers and Motability Scheme customers with the application process and delivering an excellent end-to-end service. This role involves taking calls, guiding new customers, supporting existing customers, developing strong customer service skills, and receiving monthly one-to-one coaching. The apprenticeship aims to build personal and professional skills for a thriving customer service career. Essential qualifications include GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above, along with communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, customer care, teamwork, initiative, and non-judgmental skills. Basic computer skills, the right to work in the UK, and no prior study of Customer Service Level 2 are also required. Upon completion, career progression within the organization is supported.
