About the role
Join Morrisons as a Customer Assistant with a clear path to becoming a Bakery Apprentice through the Proper Jobs: Fresh Start Programme. This up to 2-year program combines on-the-job learning, formal off-the-job training, and online modules. Initially, you'll work as a Customer Assistant for 13 weeks before starting a 12-month Bakery Apprenticeship. Successful completion can lead to the Sir Ken Morrison Leadership School, a stepping stone into retail management. Learn to craft a variety of breads and baked goods, focusing on product making, ingredients, methods, and timings. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals at the beginning of their career journey, particularly college or sixth-form leavers, with no prior experience required.
