Apprentice Early Years Educator

About the role

An Apprentice Early Years Educator is needed at Hockley Community Day Nursery. This role offers the opportunity to gain an Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification while working with children aged 0 years 3 months to 5 years 0 months. Duties include ensuring high standards of care and development in line with the EYFS, organizing resources for activities, assisting in enhancing children's developmental progress, implementing daily routines, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding nursery policies and procedures. The apprenticeship includes a Level 3 qualification, functional skills in maths and English if required, an End-Point Assessment, Employee Rights and Responsibilities, Personal Learning and Thinking Skills, and a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid. A DBS check and two work references are required. Successful completion may lead to full-time employment.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 9-5, strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and team working skills, with initiative and patience.
