About the role
HOCKLEY COMMUNITY DAY NURSERY LTD is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and reliable apprentice to join their team as an Early Years Educator. This Level 3 apprenticeship offers a brilliant opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young children and aspire to build a career in Early Years while gaining a recognised qualification. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in creating a safe environment, communicating with parents, observing and assessing children, maintaining records, attending courses, and working collaboratively. The role requires good communication, attention to detail, organisation skills, and a patient, non-judgemental approach. Essential qualifications include GCSE English Language and Maths at grade 4. Desired qualifications include GCSE Childcare, Early Years Educator Level 2, and Health and Social Care at grade 4. Upon successful completion, there is an opportunity to advance to Early Years Level 5. The training is delivered through a blended approach with virtual classrooms, webinars, and work-based tasks, including in-person visits from a tutor.
