About the role
Hockley Community Day Nursery Ltd is recruiting enthusiastic Early Years apprentices and practitioners to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to support children's learning, development, care, and wellbeing while building a rewarding career in early years education. Successful candidates will work alongside experienced practitioners, assisting with play-based learning, activity planning and delivery, observing and recording children's progress, supporting daily routines, and fostering independence. The apprenticeship involves completing a Level 3 or Level 5 Early Years programme, combining workplace learning, practical experience, and off-the-job study. Upon completion, there is potential for continued employment and career progression within the nursery, including roles such as senior practitioner or room leader.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, IT, organisational, and team working skills are essential.
