Trainee Estimator/ Project Manager Apprentice

About the role

An exciting opportunity to join a small, friendly and busy team at Emerson Willis Ltd. This apprenticeship offers valuable hands-on experience in estimating and contract management within the construction phase of projects. You will learn from experienced colleagues in a supportive environment, with opportunities for development and progression.

Key duties include assisting with tender pricing and preparation, measuring quantities from drawings, administering live construction projects, preparing project documentation (including health and safety), and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers. The role requires excellent communication, IT, and administrative skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities and a positive, reliable attitude.

Due to the office location and limited public transport, a full driving licence and access to your own transport are essential. Upon successful completion, there's potential for a long-term career in roles such as estimating, quantity surveying, or contracts management.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above), plus 3 A-Levels or equivalent qualification (112 UCAS points).
