Level 4 Apprentice Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to become a Level 4 Apprentice Construction Site Supervisor with CoTrain, based at the college on the Isle of Wight. You will be supporting the on-site Management team in all aspects of creating a new college facility, working on a new build project. The role is open to residents from both Southampton and the Isle of Wight, with ferry costs covered. You will learn to ensure projects are planned and completed safely and on time, maintain site diaries, understand inspection standards, comply with environmental plans, manage site boundaries and procedures, build relationships with other teams, prepare for inspection visits, coordinate material storage, and shadow the production director. This apprenticeship leads to a qualification equivalent to an HNC in Construction and Built Environment with weekly day release. Upon completion, progression to Level 5 & 6 qualifications in Construction is typical, with Level 6 being a degree.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths, English and three other subjects at grade 4 or C, along with strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, logical thinking, and initiative skills.
