About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a career in merchandising, retail planning, forecasting or business administration. You will gain valuable hands-on experience whilst studying towards a recognised Level 3 Business Administrator qualification.

Key duties will include analysing sales performance, managing stock, supporting forecasting and planning activities, and ensuring product availability. You will play an important role in supporting the business to maximise sales opportunities, improve product availability, maintain excellent service levels and drive commercial performance. During your apprenticeship, you will gain experience in sales analysis and reporting, stock management, forecasting, supplier and customer communication, purchase order management, critical path management, freight and logistics administration, commercial decision making, and Microsoft Excel and Power BI reporting. The apprenticeship is designed to provide a long-term career pathway within the commercial teams, potentially progressing from Apprentice Merchandising Assistant to Assistant Merchandiser, Merchandiser, and Senior Merchandiser.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, along with strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, analytical, and team working skills.
