About the role
This is a Level 2 Apprentice Carpenter/Joiner opportunity based in Oxford, working on a new build project at the Oxford Science Park. The role involves installing bespoke joinery products to a high standard of finish. Duties include interpreting drawings, learning quality inspection standards, adhering to site procedures, and maintaining health and safety. You will work with colleagues and other trades, manage material storage, and learn from experienced tradesmen. The apprenticeship is for the "Carpentry & Joinery" standard at Level 2 and may involve day or block release college programs.
Entry requirements
- GCSEs in Maths, English and three other subjects at grade 4 or C. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, number, and teamwork skills are essential. Physical fitness is also required.
