About the role

Embark on a hands-on career in construction as a Level 2 Bricklaying Apprentice with Pope Services. You will gain invaluable practical experience in essential bricklaying techniques, including laying bricks and blocks, mixing mortar, interpreting drawings, and safely using tools. Working closely with seasoned bricklayers, you will develop the necessary skills and knowledge to become a fully qualified professional. This apprenticeship involves assisting with site preparation, material handling, setting out brickwork, building various structures, and contributing to repair and maintenance tasks. You will learn to maintain high standards of workmanship, adhere to health and safety procedures, and collaborate effectively within an experienced team. The role emphasizes a genuine interest in bricklaying and construction, a strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude towards learning and development. While a driving license is not mandatory, reliable travel to Sutton Coldfield by 7:00 am is required, with site transport provided.
