About the role

Join a friendly Epsom dental practice as a Customer Service Apprentice. You’ll welcome patients, manage appointments, answer enquiries, take payments and provide excellent customer service, while gaining valuable experience and a recognised Customer Service qualification. This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive introduction to customer service within a healthcare setting. Duties include greeting and checking in patients, handling phone calls and enquiries, booking and amending appointments, managing the appointment diary, sending patient reminders, processing payments, updating patient records, supporting NHS and private treatment administration, managing recalls and referrals, and providing general reception and administrative support to the dental team. Upon completion, there is potential for career progression to roles such as Customer Service Advisor, Administrator, Receptionist, or even Team Leader or Manager, with opportunities for further training and development into wider business or management functions.
