About the role
This apprenticeship offers an opportunity to work within a childcare setting, supporting children aged 0-5 years. Responsibilities include creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment, teaching within EYFS requirements, and participating in various indoor and outdoor activities. The role also involves supporting children's self-care needs, communicating with team members and parents, and liaising with external customers. Successful candidates will work towards an Advanced Diploma in Early Years, with potential for a full-time position upon completion. Career progression could lead to roles such as Room Leader, management training, or further development in primary education or paediatric nursing. The training involves online sessions for the first 8 weeks, with the majority of the time spent in the nursery setting, supported by a dedicated assessor. A laptop/PC is essential for online learning.
