Apprentice Academy Centre Manager

About the role

The Apprentice Academy Centre Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day and strategic operations of the Engineering Apprenticeship Training Academy at LCY2. This role involves leading the delivery of high-quality engineering apprenticeship training, ensuring full compliance with regulatory, awarding body, and Amazon standards. The ideal candidate will have experience as a curriculum manager from a Further Education college or commercial apprenticeship provider, with extensive knowledge of engineering apprenticeship delivery. A recognised Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) or Internal Verifier (IV) qualification is required, or the candidate should be working towards one. Amazon Apprenticeship Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all learners, and this role involves regulated activity requiring statutory pre-appointment safeguarding checks. The Centre Manager will act as a point of contact for safeguarding concerns, uphold safeguarding policies, and ensure learners are supported in a safe environment.

Entry requirements

• Experience defining program requirements, advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookUps), SQL, cross-functional team experience, program/project management experience, experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation/standardization, experience defining and executing program requirements. Preferred: experience in driving end-to-end delivery, communicating results to senior leadership, leading process improvements, stakeholder management, building processes, project management, and schedules. Must hold or be working towards a recognised Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) or Internal Verifier (IV) qualification.
