About the role
Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT) is a 12-month training programme fully funded by the Department for Education (DfE), designed for graduates of any subject. Completion of the programme leads to achievement of the Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) making trainees fully qualified early years teachers. You will be working within the nursery setting at Jiminy Cricket supporting children’s learning and development while completing your professional training.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English, Maths, and Science at grade 4 or above, and a Bachelor's Degree in any subject with a 2:1 classification. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, number skills, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience are essential.
