About the role

Embark on an Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT) program, a fully funded 12-month initiative by the Department for Education, designed for graduates of any discipline. Upon successful completion, you will gain Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), qualifying you as a fully accredited early years teacher. As an EYITT Apprentice, your responsibilities will include supporting children's learning and development, planning and delivering engaging activities, observing and assessing their progress, and building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. You will promote inclusive practices, ensure safeguarding and health and safety standards are met, and reflect on your professional development. This role offers hands-on experience in nursery and school environments, providing an excellent pathway into a rewarding career shaping young children's futures.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English, Maths, and Science at grade 4 (or equivalent), and a Bachelor's Degree in any subject with a 2:1 classification. Essential skills include strong communication, attention to detail, organization, customer care, problem-solving, numeracy, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience. Applicants must also meet residency and right-to-work requirements.
